All items are entirely made by a single craftsman from start to finish to insure pride of ownership of the final piece. Laguiole en Aubrac is responsible for the creation of the  "L.O.G" certification or "Laguiole Origine Garantie". Doing business with "LOG" certified manufacturers not only insure that the cutlery produced is made in France but also insure that no "sub parts" or components (except handle material) of any kind were imported from outside of France. LOG Certified manufacturer are subject to audits in order to maintain LOG certification.
