LAGUIOLE WARRANTIES

Laguiole "Life time Warranty" as been used by Laguiole manufacturers for decades. Most of them will honor it... if you are able to contact the manufacturer in France and if you have a lot of patience.

All Laguiole manufacturer warranties are strictly enforced by Laguiole City. In most cases Laguiole City will act on your behalf with the manufacturer to handle your claim quickly and efficiently (see details below). Please beware that engravings are optional and will not be replaced free of charge.

Warranty support claims will only be handled on product purchased from LaguioleCity.com

Chateau Laguiole

Warranty: Lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.

Warranty support: Provided by us on all items purchased from LaguioleCity.com

What is covered: Any product failure, no questions asked. Note: Chateau Laguiole will not replace items that shows obvious signs of neglect or intentional damages.

What to expect: Most Items are replaced by LaguioleCity, some high end pieces such as stingray leather, mammoth ivory etc... may be repaired at the discretion of the manufacturer.

Turnaround: 2 to 20 business days. Qualifying items will be replaced by LaguioleCity on the manufacturers behalf. Customer is responsible for shipping related expenses.

Warranty: Lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.

Warranty support: Provided by us on all items purchased from LaguioleCity

What is covered: Any product failure as a result of normal use. Bent knife blades or bent corkscrew (spiral) are not covered by manufacturer warranty.

What to expect: Items will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of the manufacturer.

Turnaround: 5 to 20 business days. Qualifying items may be replaced by LaguioleCity on the manufacturer behalf. Item may need to be shipped to the manufacturer directly by customer. Customer is responsible for shipping related expenses.

Laguiole Jean Dubost

Warranty: Unwritten warranty against manufacturer defects.

Warranty support: Provided by us on all items purchased from LaguioleCity

What is covered: Although Jean Dubost does not provide written warranties they stand behind their products 100% and will resolve any issues caused by a manufacturer defect. Bent knife blades are not covered by manufacturer warranty.

What to expect:  Items will be replaced.

Turnaround: 5 to 10 business days, less if item is in stock.
